Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Spectrum Autism Support Group. Listed below are some of our current volunteer opportunities. Please indicate what areas/events you may be interested in volunteering and we will be in touch with you. We look forward to having you on our volunteer team!

  • Spectrum Volunteer Opportunities

  • Camp Twin Lakes/Will-A-Way at Ft. Yargo State Park in Winder – could use 6-8 volunteers to assist with camp activities over the weekend as needed. Friday 4pm to Monday noon.
  • Location , Traditions Golf and Country Club, Braselton, 7:30am - 2pm. Need 3-4 volunteers. Silent auction items needed (50% of profits go to Spectrum from this tournament).
  • 9 am-12:30 pm (Gwinnett Fairgrounds, Lawrenceville) If interested in volunteering for this event, please register at georgiaraceforautism.com
  • First Saturday in October! Gwinnett Fairgrounds. Sign up for shifts (6:30-9, 7:30-10, 10-1) at If interested in volunteering for this event, please register at http://www.georgiaraceforautism.com. Silent auction donations needed. 300 volunteers needed to put on this event and handle all shifts. We partner with Gwinnett Great Days of Service, local schools, and more.
  • First Thursday of December - party for 300 + kids and parents at First Baptist Church of Duluth, 2908 Duluth Hwy, Duluth, Family Life Center. Need volunteers to help with set up, serving food, decorating tables, clean up and help with photo booth, photo room, kids’ party and more. 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
  • We meet the first and 2ndThursday of each month (school year only) at the Spectrum Autism Support Center, 2997 Main St. Duluth, 6:30-8:00pm and always need hands-on volunteers to greet, direct, help with childcare.
  • Twice a month (school year only) at The Spectrum Autism Support Center, 2997 Main St., Duluth, GA 9:30-3 pm. (Volunteers must be over 18 and have a background check)

  • We have need for volunteers at various other events throughout the year, in addition to some administrative tasks or projects that come up during the year. Family events are pool parties, fishing days, picnic and pony ride days, egg hunts and more. Our wine tasting and egg hunt are in the spring. For those interested in volunteering or working with camps you will need to be 18 or older and undergo a background check. Apply at socialskillstoday.com.
