Spectrum Kommunity Inclusion Project (SKIP)

Spectrum's Kommunity Inclusion Project, (SKIP), is a program providing support and training to local camps, churches and respite providers so that children on the autism spectrum can be included in typical camp or church settings where they can learn crucial social, communication and play skills. Our goal is that all children will learn to work with, play with, respect and value each other, regardless of varying abilities and skills.

Please contact us to make arrangements for a specific camp or church to receive a free training session. A link to our printable brochure is below.

Staff trainings are available Free of charge due to the grant writing and fundraising of Spectrum Autism Support Group. We also provide free follow-up consultation, up to 2 hours per child with autism, in their programs. (There may be a charge for additional hours.) We also train churches for Vacation Bible School and/or Sunday School.

  • Training sessions can be incorporated into your volunteer training.
  • Each training session is tailored to the needs of your organization.
  • On site consultation is available during your activity.

SKIP is funded by Spectrum Autism Support Group.
