Next Phase Adult Social Skills Group - Beginning May 2012
In addition to our Asperger's Adult group that currently meets on Thursday evenings, we are excited to announce a NEW Adult group for those 30+. Consider this....
Do you have an established job or career?
Do you have a family of your own or hoping to start one soon?
Do you sometimes feel like there are no support groups that you fit into?
Would you like to explore ways to be more positive or just need to vent?
Would you like to discuss topics that bring stress to your daily life with people that understand or are going through similar situations?
Are you looking for a small group led by someone with a counseling background and experience dealing with Asperger's?
If any of these apply to you, this group may be for you!! Please contact Delinda Coffey at jdcoffey@bellsouth.net for information and meeting times.
Meeting will be held at:
First Baptist Church of Duluth 2908 Duluth Highway 120 Duluth, GA 30096
Social Support Group for Adults with Asperger's/High Functioning Autism
Who We Are: We are a group of adults who meet to learn from one another, share our experiences and grow together.
What We Do: We meet the 1st Thursday of each month to discuss what is happening in our lives. We often have a topic, such as "Coping with Anxiety", "How to Keep a Conversation Going" and "How to Set Personal Goals."
We gather an additional evening each month for a social evening out. Activities have included dinner and a movie, bowling and Stone Mountain. The only fee for members is the admission or participation fee for activities. For more information please contact Carmel Silver at melly146@juno.com
